I do not have any before pic's but the ones on this site are from the beginning of my journey, which I started 6 weeks ago. My motivation is this site and all the inspirational words that are posted. The one other thing I did to get motivated was upgrade my membership. More access to the site and a very helpful tool.

I keep my motivation up by knowing that i want to own a gym in some years... i decided that i will do that now that i am tired of work for a company that is only getting richer and getting more demanding every day without caring for its people.

I want to look really great and then my clients would say "he looks good, maybe this really works"

I guess i found out that i really want to help people (and myself) by learning more and more about fitness.

My original motivation: Chicks, lol! (funny, but true)

My current motivation: Strength and Health. After I started to feel what strength was like (about 2 years in) I was hooked.

I wish I had some before pics from when I was 20/21 (300+lbs and weak), to compare with pics now (230lbs and strong), there is absolutely no comparison

My motivation:
1. Being able to actively enjoy my grandchildren (my kids are only 8 and 2 right now).
2. Setting a positive/healthy example for my children so that they are equipped with the right tools to be healthy adults.
3. For self confidence.
4. So that my husband (and other men) think I'm hot. ;)

I want to fit into my fav clothes again. I also want to FEEL better. Resistance band training is fun but hard and I see results almost immediatly, and that motivates me even more. I feel GOOOOD, and there is no better motivator!

My motivation is the fact that becoming overweight is in my genes. Both my parents were really heavy, and after watching all the work they had to go through to lose weight I've decided that I never want to have to be there, and I realized that the only way to prevent it would be to get healthy habits now. Then, as my metabolism starts to slow down I won't have to worry about becoming overweight.
