I had 2 C Sections within a 2 year time frame. I have lost most of my baby weight from the last pregnancy (the youngest is 19 months now) I have 5 more pounds to go (which may not seem like alot, but when you are 5'2, 5 pounds is 2 dress sizes...)
It seems to be getting more difficult. I am doing a 3 day home workout from here plus the ab program, and maintaining a lower calorie healthy diet.
Is it just a matter of time? I am also going to increase my Karate class - I currently do 1 hour per week, and will now do 2 1/2...
Hopefully this will help push my weight loss?

Any ideas angiem6? I have also had c sections and lost most of my baby weight (only taken 10 years!!!!)but my belly feels as if someone has given me theirs. What I mean is it dosen't feel like part of my body - it the last place I lose weight from and I always look pregnant. I had some nerve damage the first time so I feel no exercise whislt doing or after, so I do crunch after crunch and still nothing except frustration. ANY IDEAS

Well - I am not getting very far very fast. I still have 5 pounds to go, and several inches. I was hoping that maybe it was just a matter of time - my youngest will be 2 in 2 1/2 months. So I am throwing that time theory out the window.

I did come across a new exercise at Karate that I have added to my ab workout - it's called the plank. You lay on your stomach, clasp your hands together in front of you and "push up" onto your elbows and toes and hold for as long as you can (10 seconds is difficult for me....)

I wouldn't suggest not doing crunches, but try mixing it up - the ab workout on here is good. By doing a variety of different exercises you challenge your muscles, and don't just focus on your abs. By building lean muscle all over, you will lose more weight and inches.

Part of my issue is consistency. I have had sick kids, busy work, my partner is busy with work, so I am not working out regularly enough in the past couple of months.

The goood news is - while I haven't lost anything, I also haven't gained - stick with it....

Does anyone have any other ideas or comments? I could use a few suggestions....

Look up 'stomach vacuum exercise' on google - one of the best ways to retrain your inner abdominal girdle which helps you to get a falt stomach..I will see if I can find a good link...

Yesterday I did this exercise in the morning - and when I went to bed - I felt the burn. Don't know yet how effective it is - only time will tell - but the burn was definately there.
