I am so happy I feel like screaming it from the mountain top!! It took me 3 months of cardio...5 miles a day 4-5 days per week...to loose 5 lbs (and gained it back after two weeks of not working out). Now that I have found this site and incorporated the exercise program, it's only taken me 1-1/2 weeks to loose the same amount of weight. This is with very little change to my diet. I had no idea working with weights was the key.
Thank God I found this site !!!!!

It's called LEAN MUSCLE MASS and that's excactly what's needed to keep up the metabolism.
I'm happy for you, good luck!!!

Did you keep up with the same amount of cardio or did you cut some out?

Congratulations! Nodding my head in agreement with the Lean muscle mass. Wish I knew this when I was younger.
Keep us posted on your progress.

Metraa, I cut back to only 2 miles 4x a week. I found that with cutting back my cardio, I'm not starved after working out.
I agree with Mandre, I REALLY wish I would have known this years ago.

Congradulations. When you add weight training it makes all the difference in the world.
