Hmm - for cardio I like funk and hiphop, some rap...Lifting I like harder stuff - Disturbed, Metallica, pretty much metal or thrash...

this has been posted before....

It has to be hard, heavy, and evil.

Marilyn Manson, Adema, Bloodsimple, Silent Civilian make up a great deal of my lifting music.

Marilyn Manson is coming out with a new album in a month. From the track's I've heard, it's very heavy. I'm stoked.

Wow Mutt and Charlie. I never knew! I'm all alone in the gym when I go in the early AM, and the office that holds the radio is closed. For the last week they have had on the oldies station. Something about "Bridge over troubled waters" didn't get me pumped, but I thought I might cry a little?! Time to pull out the headphones!

I rarely listen to Christina Aguilera or Destiny's Child (I listen to "Stripped" and "Destiny's Child's No. 1 Hits" or something like that) but I like them for their empowering lyrics (certain songs) and good dance beats. I'm a big rock fan so of course I gotta have my Nine Inch Nails and some Manson. Basically anything that gets me moving.

The buzz Ballad set from Time life has great music: tool, saliva, the offspring, three doors down, metallica...etc etc...excellent set.
