I have only spent 30 minutes total in my life learning the form for a power clean. Given that, I think my form is semi-decent. It seems to me that the biggest mistake a lot of people make is performing a sort of reverse curl during the clean. If my arms aren't sore at all but my upper back is after doing these, is that a decent indication that I am doing it right? Are there any other things that I should specifically be careful to watch myself doing as a relative beginner? Ideally I would have someone to coach me I know, but I don't think that is really an option right now.

Can't really tell you how your form is by where you are sore. I'm sorry, but they are very technical lifts.
