I was just wondering if there is such a thing as over working out when you're trying to lose weight? Like say... is 2/2.5 hours a day too much?

depends on what you are doing with those 2.5 hours. if one hour is weight training and one hour is lower to moderate inetensity cardio, might not be too much...but usually you don't need to workout that much to get fit anf lose weight.
