Working Out: Motivation
Working out on a Bike that doesn?t move an inch,
Like a hamster that runs on a wheel,
Like the fish playing with its own reflection in the tank,
It may seem pointless, but I can explain it in a cinch,
The hamster runs on the wheel for the freedom it feels,
The fish doesn?t know but he named his reflection Frank,
I pedal on that bike because it moves miles for me,
Lets me imagine myself going down the roads of France,
Lets me remove the fat I so carelessly put on over the years,
But it takes the imagination to realize what you cant see,
The new rack I will shop from for my pants,
The new feeling of a smaller size and a new reason for tears,
The ability to walk past the big and tall section,
Go to the normal racks and having actual stylish selections,
Those muscles that actually show through that crap called fat,
Diet and exercise you can and may critic and question all that,
But when I flex and there is an actual bicep that shows,
So don?t be offended when I snob up my nose,
Because that is the dream in a pinch,
From the man who pedals on a bike that doesn?t move an inch.
