Thanks for the encouragement I am on my way to wal mart to purchase A measuring device I am still going to weigh myself but would like to focus more on the inches lost I printed off a lot of stuff yesterday. I will post measurements later.
I will also keep you up to date on routine and diet I am looking into fish oil supplements and possibly protein shakes as I think I am lacking a lot of that in my diet we are not big fish eaters to put it plainly we eat a lot of COWS lol, My goal is to eat 5 meals I will also be keeping a food diary and tracking that as well
Thanks ahead of time for everything also.
Please keep in mind I know im a newbe but im hear to stay there will be days I will whine and you will be there to tell me to suck it up shut up and do it. I look forward to that
KISS my new Motto
Jay good luck buddy we can do this.

frnchfry - you measured right, one measuremnet over the bust and one at your bra line, under.

You are very motivated, maybe when the guided fat loss challenge is over, the guys will swing over and join your challenge for further motivation!

The less cow you eat and the more fish, the better for weight loss. Baby steps...

Simmer thanks I love my coffee Gotta have it or I m not so nice:love: But im sure its not so good to load it up with sugar and cream. By the I cut back to 2 sugar packets and a touch of cream. I used to use 5 and a whole lot of cream.
Okay I weighed Myself are you ready 169lbs I am extremely amazed I think something is wrong with scale Im gonna double check tonight when I go to gym. I just cant think that after all I ate on my 2 week vacation and 3 weeks of no gym that I didn't gain 1 lb doesnt seem right I was looking for an extra ten. Tonight is gym night, Yes I can honestly say that i am excited to go I have missed it weird I use to hate it Now i want to go.
More goals: Not to weigh myself as often, once a week
to eat less cows more fish:big_smile:

heres my plan
:dumbbell: Monday - wednesday -friday -Weights + 20 min cardio(my husband refuses to not do cardio when we go to the gym) lol
Tuesday and thursday - Abs and 40 min cardio
My question for now is I am using to pre made workout from Ft this should be good for both of us to do for now as we both want to lose weight right? Or should he be doing different workout
Heres what workout consist for tonight
Back chest calves
Hyperextensions Will have to do these with a ball 20x 12x 10x 8x
close grip chins Will use that weird machine 12x 10x 8x
Incline cable cross overe Might do dumb bells instead 16x 12x 10x 8x
seated machine flyes 12x 10x 8x
Incline seated calf raises 20x 16x 16x 16x
This is the work out i have printed
Any ideas on this or is this a good start will post on ho9w progress at gym went later

I think the FT workouts will work fine for both of you, you'll just be adjusting the wt used, depending on your levels of strength. It's great that you are working out together, it'll be good motivation!

Thanks KC glad to help you out:big_smile:
Ok just got home from gym and I am so sore my legs and arms are shaking like crazy. But I feel good. Its weird I weighed myself before workout weighed 166 not sure how that worked after my 3 weeks off thats 2 lbs less. Not gonna complain though i'll take it.
Okay heres work out. Little different then planned
5 min eliptical
Deadlifts
16x30 12x30 10x30 8x30
close grip chins
8x41 5x41 4x41
incline flyes
16x10 12x10 10x10 8x15
seatted mach flyes
12x40 10x60 8x60
25 min eliptical
I have to say the dead lifts left a soreness in my inner thigh plus this my first time doing them so im trying to stay with form and the close grip chins were extremely difficult and that was done on a machine that subtracts the weight from body weight
otherwise all is good thanks for the encouragement post more tomorrow.

Okay so weights going good. feeling it today definitly Food not so much I was under on my calorie intake which is suppose to be 2264 and over on my fat intake and under on protein and carbs by a lot. So I am obviously not eating the right foods. So I will work on this. But all in all I did not eat the junk I normally eat nor did I eat 2 helpings at dinner like normal. So progress is good.
Day 2 bring it on. Gotta go walk my mile for this morning.

Okay so my husband and I were talking and I know we are way under on our Protien intake by half. So i am reading up on protein shakes and wondering if we should start taking them then He mentions creatine and I had remembered reading something bad about so I fit buddied but i cant remember all that i read. ( im only on my first cup of coffee)any ways the situation is this. I want to lose weight and tone he wants to lose weight and build muscle mass. What i understood as i read was that in order to do either all we really need is right diet and exercise right or will supplements help. i know i read this answer but i want to know your guys opinion especially with the protien.

Start with getting your dietary info right and your workouts in, the most supplements you need right now is a good multi-vitamin and EFA's in the form of fish oil or flax oil. Or by eating fish and walnuts... you don't need creatine at this point.

Okay for today we were going to do biceps triceps and shoulders, But, We are so sore from Monday that we feel that it would not be in our bodies best interest to over do it. By the way my body told me that if I try to lift weights it will not let me get up in the morning:angry:. I did not anticipate this much soreness. But am glad for it as it means i got a good work its not intolerable but my muscles need a rest since where we work is also physical. I did however walk my mile this morning and am keeping food to a healthy level. I will go home and take the dog for a walk that is a workout all by itself....
We will hit it tomorrow. You guys didnt warn me that deadlifting is an entire body workout...... plus the freetrainer workout did have 2 rest days we just didnt want to workout on a saturday but will have to after all....:dumbbell:
