I read an article on Mike Mentzers training techniques to increase strength.
One of his methods was to calculate your 3 rep max for any exercise, just do 1 rep with it, take a 1 minute rest, and again do 1 rep, repeating this until 5 sets have been completed. Every couple of weeks the rest period will decrease between sets, until only the rst between sets is 15 seconds that in which the weight is increased 5%. and rest periods go back to 1 minute.
Anyone ever tries this?
