Losing my stomach pouch with a colostomy

Almost 2 years ago I was diagnosed with colorectal cancer and had surgery for it. When I went into surgery my stomach was flat, then when I woke up from surgery I had a distended stomach and they said it would go back to what I had, well it hasn't and I'm not sure how to get my flat stomach back and I want it back BAD!!! HELP!!!

I think what you may be distended with is organs, not necessarily fat. I'm not medical, just thinking thats what it could be. what does your doctor say?
