Being overweight is a common trait these days and there is not enough help out there. Find out how you can shed those pounds and improve yourself from within.
Hey yall,
I'm currently at 250 pounds. I lost around 26 pounds since I started the South Beach diet 2 months ago. According to my BMI, I'm supposed to be 179lbs. It seems like I've reached a plateau. I'm eating near to no carbs. I looked at the recommendations this site provided but I'm sure I'm eating less carbs than they have suggested for me. Am I still good with less carbs if I want to get to my goal?
Depends on exactly how much carbs you are taking in. Eating no carbs at all is not going to help you loose the weight long term. How many calories are you taking in per day? What is your exercise routine like?
Check out the WSSC diet plan on here. Any diet that restricts one item almost completely is never a good plan and is simply a "diet". If you are looking to make permenant lifestyle changes, you need to find balance. And, like slorbets mentioned, you need to exercise also.
