lately i have been working alot and the days i get off are usually one after another...this is the only chance i get to work out...is it bad to work the same muscles 2 days in a row??

Why would you work the same muscles 2 days in a row? You have too many muscles in your body for that, unless you're doing a full body routine.

Post your routine so we can take a look at it.

Why not do an upper body workout one day and lower body the next?

Do you really work such long shifts that working out before or after is impossible?
