HOLIDAY EATING A STRUGGLE??

Doesn't have to be!! --"You don't have to totally forgo if you use a little control"!!

We are in holiday season, so who isn't concerned about the extra calories! Great trick is to fill yourself with a good, light calorie salad BEFORE you go to eat, nibble on some veggies while waiting for your meal and take great pride in taking smaller portions, it is a great feeling when people fill their plates to the sky and then look at you and say, "aren't you eating?" when they see your plate! Not that it is good to see someone else overeating, but you could be the reason for their turning things around by your example! Just take 1/2 of what you would usually eat, even a HALF a piece of pie if you really want that pie! Drink a large glass of water (throw in some lemon!!) or at most a diet cola.

If you feel you don't have a grip on the cravings and willpower yet, steer clear of the dinner altogether and visit before or after or better yet, bring your own HEALTHY dish that every one can share! Holiday dinners don't have to be bad for you, watch your calorie intake and don't forget to exercise!!!
