So...today I was looking online for maternity jeans cause the regular ones I have are starting to get snug around the waist, and I decided to look at nursing bras, and have run into a big problem. The plus sized ones start at 40/42 around(I'm only a 38) and the regular ones only go up to a Dcup(I'm a DD)

Anyone been an in betweener with these and have ideas, stores, options for me??? Thanks ladies, I appreciate any info you can throw my way!

I totally agree with mutt. In the first tri I went up a full cup size and have been told that now that I am in 3rd tri to be prepared to go up another once the milk comes in....I plan to wait to buy a nursing bra until necessary.

Christabelle do you belong to any of the pregnancy forums? There are some great ones with really nice girls www.pregnancy.org is great with lots of different forums, www.babyfit.com has some great fitness and pregnancy related forums, and www.babycenter.com also has a nice selection of forums.

I belong to a pregnancy group on Livejournal, but it's blocked at work, and hubby takes up all the comp time at home, so I thought I'd ask here since there are lots of mommies around.

I found a store that can accomidate me when the time comes, so I should be good to go!

motherhood has a large selection of nursing bras as well as nursing tops when your little one comes! congratulations and good luck! when i was pregnant with my son, i found that babycenter.com was a great site during pregnancy and has been very informative since his birth.

Shkhawk~ Motherhood is the store I found. I have already purchased some tops and a nice pair of comfy jeans there. I tried on a couple of bra's and they fit(I haven't grown yet at all) so we'll see what happens when my milk comes in lol. Thanks a bunch!

I was just about to suggest motherhood as they tend to carry every size imaginable. I have 9 weeks left and while shopping they told me to buy 1 cup size up from now (and I already went up a cup size in 1st tri) When are you due?

Due in January...the 26th. Nothing really has changed for me bodywise except the whole tummy expanding out thing lol. I've only gained a total of 2lbs(doc wants me to gain between 10-15) so most of my clothes still fit although some tops have gotten a little short to cover the maternity band on my jeans ha ha. My husband and I are just waiting for the kick that he can feel to come along! :)

2lbs eh? Good for you...I am not even going to say how much I have gained....let's just say my after pic on here and the current me don't look much alike :) I have been very healthy though...no probs at all....except now I have developed carpal tunnel which is common in the third tri. Still working out at least 3 times a week though :)

Good for you lonegirl!!You'll bounce back quick...right after that baby is born you'll feel the thinnest you've ever felt in your life...till some big clod comes and asks..."you haven't had that baby yet"????...even though you delivered the day before.

Good for you on still working out. I've been walking on my lunch break. I can't do much more than that because I have something akin to SPD. Being a bigger girl to begin with, I don't need to gain much weight, but I haven't been doing anything different than normal(other than wanting mostly cold foods like salad, fruit and cereal). I did have a true pregnancy craving the other night though. I dipped a marshmellow in chocolate frosting and ate it. Only 1 though!!

lol
My midwife suggested only about 20lb wt gain....I have surpassed that....lol oh well (My bloodwork on gestational diabetes came back great so no worries there...and since I have been on mat leave my bp has been perfect)....my hubby is totally for it because it is the first time in the last 8 years I have let myself just eat when I was hungry and eat what I wanted. I am looking forward to 6wks post partum though to get back to my old fitness/nutrition routine (that and breastfeeding)It will be a challenge I look forward to (getting back into my old body....which had been slowly getting larger over the past couple years anyways.)

I'm very much looking forward to working really hard after baby gets here to get back down to a normal weight. I'll be breastfeeding, so I know that will help, and I'm just going to continue walking, and using the dumbells I'm going to get tonight at the store! Haven't had the gd test yet...hurray for orange flavored sugar water!! My BP at my last visit though was 110/60, and everyone was Realllyyy happy about that. :)

Mutt, you are so good with keeping tabs on me! I am getting them tonight(I didn't wind up going past the store last night like I thought I would) I had my mom check on the prices for me(she lives next door to the Freddy's) and I'll be getting 2 pink 5 pounders. They are $3.99 a piece on sale right now, so I can't pass them up. Next paycheck though, I'll be headed to the mall to check out the adjustable ones at the fitness stores/sports stores.
