I am trying to lose about 24 pounds in approximatley 5 weeks. That is about 4.1 pounds per week. I was wondering if that is too much. I've read that 2 pounds a week is healthy but will 4 pounds really hurt me in any way?

IF you're able to lose that much that quick, chances are it will include a large amount of muscle along with any fat you lose.

So you're saying that if i am losing 4 pounds a week i wont be losing fat but mainly muscle?

I didn't say mainly muscle, I said that the weight loss that you see on the scale won't be all fat and you need to take that into account.

Yes..that is way to fast unless you are really over weight...like 40-50% body fat over weight and even then it is questionable. What is your plan of attack. How do you plan on loosing this weight.

My BMI is only 25. I'm counting calories. I do about an hour or so of cardio a day. I weight train as well.
