Finally... all of my big 3 lifts are over 400. I finally benched 405 yesterday afternoon (raw, good form). My bench had been lagging behind my other lifts for some reason. About a month and a half ago, I began a Westside-style routine with a few strongman moves thrown into the mix and my overall strength has shot up. Now with 405 out of the way, I have my next goals in my sights...

Strength & Conditioning is not everything; it just really sucks to be weak and slow.

dude, sick. 4 plates is a huge landmark, especially raw.

Come over to the darkside now. We have steak.

Quoting from wrestler125:

Oh, I've been on the darkside for quite some time now. Lovin' every minute of it. I'm even flipping tires every Tuesday as part of my program.

Thank you all for you support. I honestly didn't expect many responses. Next goals are to get my squat up to around 475 (500 would be nice), bench to 435, and dead to 565 - all raw numbers, of course. I do not lift with gear (personal choice).

Your bench number seems really high compared to your squat and DL. Any reason?

You don't think a 400+ bench seems high with a less than 475 squat? Just an observation but I don't know that many people who bench 85% or more of their squat.

Personally I can ench 200-210 but squat well over 300 and dl 365. I'd think that if I put on enough muscle to push 400 pounds that I'd have a relatively higher squat.

No offense meant, just wondering b/c my bench is and always has been my weakest lift.

No offense taken, ecle5c. You're correct, my squat numbers suck compared to my other lifts. I am working on that, though...
