i enrtered a school competition between all the weightlifting classes in my school. This means most of the people competing are older than me. I did leg press the other day(how lame) lol. Anyway i did 585 for 10 reps so I have the current lead in that. The competition is gonna last for two weeks so I will do other things too. I'll get back to you on my other acheivements. My teacher said another kid from another class did 315 pound squats for 30 reps and she showed me how far he went down. Figures, 1 inch squats. One of the gym classes I'm competing against is the footballl team so I would love to beat them.

This is typical for any non-sanctioned lifting competitions. Even certain organizations can't seem to hit parallel. I won't mention which ones, but there is sat least one ORGANIZATION for POWERLIFTING in the WORLD that just doens't look like lifting to me anymore.

too bad i missed school today. I'm gonna try an 805 leg press, a 110 preacher curl, a 225 bench, and a 405 hex bar DL. We can do pretty much anything cause its weightlifting so i'll try everything.

well my school sucks, the weighlifting gym is so tiny its like the size of a classroom but they have a few thing. They don't have a pullup bar so i cant do pullups no matter what and they do have a dip bar but they dont have weight belts. I'll try push press though. I doubt anyone else will though.

use a back pack for dips...

weird...i thought a pull up bar was like the ever present gym tool in every school....I been to some schools with not much except chin bar, dip station and some very basic equipment...

pec deck machine is really a waste of time...i remember 2 years ago I did an easy 20 with the stack and was talking to some1 while doing it...can never say the same thing about bench/dips even when I am doing a 20rm set....

pulldown station? i guess it's better than nothing if u got no chin bar....after a while u can pin extra weight to the stack....(half the people at my gym was pissed at me for a while cuz i was the ahole who bent all the pins pinning extra weight to the stack with them...

try some bent over rows and dynamic rows....

i tried lat pulldowns and i was able to do 200 for 2 reps. On bent over rows i did 175 for 8 reps with ok form. When doing bent over rows its really hard to keep your knees bent. For some reason on bent over dumbell rows i can do 115 for 8 reps with good form.
