Hi everyone, I am very interested in starting to jog, but when I start to the most I can jog is 60 seconds before my chest starts burning. Can you give me some advise as to what I can do to overcome this?:(

Keep doing it. That is a common thing to happen if you are starting out with out having done jogging at all or for a long time. Simply you need to let your lungs get used to it and the only way is to jog.

I had this problem too at first icf. Someone on this site in fact suggested cycling walking and jogging. I tried that and it worked awesome for me, maybe it will help you too. I started with 5 mins of walking, one min of jogging, 5 mins of walking, 1 min of jogging, etc until I'd gone 45 mins (or however long you want to). The goal with this is to go longer on your jog cycles and shorter on the walk cycles each time you do it, even it it's only 10 seconds each cycle. Good luck! It's not easy to get used to at first, but gets better, and defintely worth it!
