Im 250 pounds and just starting walking the track last week. The thing is that Im walking 3 miles per hour, 3 miles a day, 5 days a week. Im determined to melt those childhood pounds and look good for my wedding in October. I have diabetes and high blood pressure. Will walking like this possibly hurt me in the long run?

The walking should be a great benefit to your health. You should start a strength training program as well. Maybe a couple days a week for starters.
