I'm 17 years old, and well, frankly put, Fat. I'm 5'11/6'0 and 218lbs. I've talked to some people and they say I should be around 185-190. Now, I have no weights, nothing in my else that could help me get fit.
How can I lose 20-23 lbs? I'd love to do so before my senior year so I could play basketball.

Diet is the best thing to do. Eat clean and exercise, there are home workout plans on ehre that you can do.

Start walking! then gradually add in bursts of running....
And JayC2524 is right - you need to take a look at your food choices.
You can get a plenty good workout without equipment! Check under exercise program at the top of the screen - follow the link and it will ask you questions about your goals and equipment, then generate a workout plan for you!
