Here's my plea. I was a die at the gym and had to stop for 3 months to attend to family. I lost ever bit of strength I had. My body hasn't differ but my strenght is terribly week. I am in my 8 week back and its not coming back. Well I can't lie gradually its coming, but did anybody else ever loose this much and does anyone have advice on how to recover.

Your muscle has pretty phenomenal memory and if it was there to start with, it can be there again. You might want to take a look at your diet. I had an almost 2 yr down period due to a back injury and got right back to where I was in little over a year. It takes some patience and some dedication no matter what.

This is normal. But you have quite an advantage over someone who has never done it, muscle has "memory". YOu will find that initially, yes you are weak, but don't try to gain it all back in one workout. Use weights you can handle, and they will go up fast, and you will be right back where you were probably withing 30-45 days or so. Good luck. Keep up the good diet of course.

Thank's guys for the advice. I have to admit that I am shocked that I would lose that much in such a little time. Once again thanks.
