Studies have shown that green tea is effective in lowering LDL cholesterol levels and reducing the abnormal formation of clots.
There is more good news- a study at the University of Geneva found that men who were given a combination of caffeine and green tea extract burned more calories than those only on caffeine. Green tea also has anti bacterial properties, so its helps prevent tooth decay also.

Nice! I'm not a tea drinker myself, but I guess it's never too late to start. I will definitely start getting me some green tea now, especially after reading this. Thanks for the link!

I love tea. I've heard that green tea helps. I was curious though, how do I know I'm getting the right green tea. I mean is the nestea bottled green tea, that has high fructose corn syrup in it, just as good as taking green tea tablets? What is the best, easiest and most cost effective ways to implement green tea into my diet?
