Hi Im 50 years old and have made a commited decision to lose weight and get in shape. I have been making a smoothie each morning after workout and it has whey protien in it. can I still lose weight drinking this every morning

As long as you've burned more calories than you've taken in for the day. A good rule of thumb for weight loss is 10-12 calories per pound of body weight per day. However, if you are extremely overweight, it should be less than that.

Well it really depends on if you are doing a good workout routines and eating correctly. Many people make the mistake of just trying shakes without doing the exercise routine it takes too burn fat. What are your exercise routine and eating habits?
