Being overweight is a common trait these days and there is not enough help out there. Find out how you can shed those pounds and improve yourself from within.
Hi I am a 24 yr old male having weights 187lb and I am going to gym for past 1 month but my weight is not getting reduced at all then I got in touch with the given website and found that calorie intake is important to loose weight so I did calculate it
As follows
66 + (6.3 x weight in pounds) + (12.9 x height in inches) - (6.8 x age in years)
66 + (6.3 x 187) + (12.9 x 68) - (6.8 x 24)
66+1178.1+877.2-163.2
BMR=
1958 calories/day
BMR= 1958 calories/day
Activity factor =1.2(as I have a desk job)
TDEE = 2350 calories/day
Now I am confused is it calories or Kcal in the formula as this seems to be impossible diet.
Also I am a vegetarian and used to eat a lot of junk so I have cut down Choclates,chips and lots of fatty products but I hate cooking so I live on ready meals and most of them curries and rice. Going to gym I don?t take any protein shakes and any supplements .I am strict vegetarian I don?t even take eggs and tunas.
Can anyone help me get my diet in place and suggest some exercises help me loose weight as fast as possible?
Try this: Eat about 10-12 calories per pound of body weight per day. Make sure you cut the junk food out. Get a good strength training program that lets you work each muscle group at least once a week. Find the time to fit a little cardio in after you lift, and also on a couple of your off days from the gym.
