I was just wondering about my calorie intact. I am suppposed to consume about 1700 calories a day for my nutritional plan. How much lower than that can I go? I know I am not accounting for all of the calories I eat because I cannot find the exact same things they serve us at school or I eat, but I'm averaging around 1000 per day with what I put in. Is that too low? I would like to lose weight, but I don't want to drop it in an unhealthy way.

Anything under 1200-1300 is usually too low.

Yes. You want about a 500-600 calorie deficit if you are trying to lose weight. If you are burning 3000-4000, you need about 2000-2,500 min.
