Recently I decided that I need to lose some weight, so I started exercising. I went from basically no physical activity to spending at least a hour at the gym 3-4 times per week. I know that I have to work on my diet now that the holidays are over...but I would have thought the exercising alone would have been enough to at least maintain my weight....not the increase I've seen. Ugh!!! How frustrating!
Congrats on starting to exercise! Remember, muscle weighs more than fat does, so if you are putting on a lot of muscle, your weight will increase. Stay off the scale and judge yourself on how your clothes fit. Believe me, you will be much happier that way. :big_smile: Good luck!
