I tore my knee up real bad playin football in 05 and seemed to put on alot of weight since.. Seeing how im healthy enough to start training, what can i do dietwise? I need to lose about 30-40lbs by Next Fall

Forgot to add.. I have a vigorous workout plan 5days a week so i will b doing a lot of weight lifting and running. its the nutrition part im worried about.. any feedback is good. thank u

There is some pointers under Nutritional Plan in the menu here.
Otherwise... no pasta, no potatoes (chips, fries, etc.), no white bread. Plenty of veggies, fish, chicken, and lean meat. Beans are good too.

Pretty much as you would think -stay away from the sweets, too much fat, the wrong kind of fat, the wrong kind of carbs and too much food. There are so many ways to eat healthy that you shouldn't feel limited, though. My family actually likes the changes in my cooking and is feeling better for it!
