Hi, I need someone's help. I started out about 284, and I would say I had about 40-50lbs to loose. I currently weigh 265 and have lost 21 pounds so far in the last 12 weeks. I started walking every day for 30-45 min and working out with weights about 3-4 times a week, and watching what I eat. In the first 10 weeks I lost the 2 pounds a week on a pretty steady pace, but the last 2 weeks only 1 pound. I know I have more to loose, and I have not done anything different as far as my diet. I need some advice, should I up my exercise to more of a high intensity workout. How do I get through this plateau. Thanks

I'd say for now keep doing what you're doing. You've made great progress and I don't think losing only 1 lb. in two weeks counts as a plateau. You're haven't stopped progressing...just slowed to a healthy pace. If you haven't changed your routine in a while, it certainly wouldn't hurt to change it up, at more intensity. But you still may not go back to losing a steady 2 lbs. a week. You're doing great!
