here is my problem. my legs. i naturally have chubby legs. i hate my thighs. but i've been working hard to reduce the size and lose weight which has been working but they are still chubby! can i get thin legs through diet and exercise or should i just learn to live with fat legs!?

Okay - what type of leg work do you do?

Get squatting and lunging

What is you diet like?

Eventually you will get shapelier legs, it just may be your last hold-out.

i do a lot of squads and lunges and i also use weights. my problem may be my diet. i eat pretty much anything that my heart desires. well actually, i do try to eat well most of the time but whenever i feel like eating junk i do it!

how long do you think it would take me? and how long would it take me?

I can't know how long it will take you without doing a body comp and cleaning up your diet.
Cut out the junk, increase the amount of weight you do, add a little extra cardio.

Is it all possible to lose some of the muscle in my legs? I have always had enormous calves and thighs. A few years back when my doctor was informing me to lose weight he noted how muscular my lower body was. From the stomach up it is a complete disaster but I don't want to build anymore muscle below that. Is there anything that I could possibly do it's like pure muscle down there.:(

Are you sure? If you are fat elsewhere, you probably have fat marbled into your leg muscles, too.

Do more endurnace type workouts for your legs and train your upper body heavy to balance it out. eat a clean diet and you should see everything shape up.

Wow I never thought about marbled fat!!! I will definitely up my endurance training thanks sooo much for the advice!

i suggest you take up jogging, even if it's slow jogging. i jog 2 miles on mon/wed/frid, and jog 4 miles tues./thrus., and have notice a dramatic change in my legs, they are trimmed and toned now. i also do squats/lunges, pilates, and spinninng.
