My thoughts are:

Wow.

Impressive.

Definitely believable.

Definitely aesthetically useful in a short period of time, but....

not for me...ain't gonna make me a better basketball player.

My thought is that you should avoid posting crap like this in a strength forum.

my fav quote from his blog

"For the ladies not interested in becoming the Hulk, if you follow a ?slow-carb? diet and reduce rest periods to 30 seconds between exercises, this exact workout protocol can help you lose 10-20 pounds of fat in the same 28-day time span."

I agree with wrestler....

If he was 148lbs...ANYTHING would show on him, anything would add size to him.

Although for somone to gain that much lean weight in a month..makes me wonder if he had some "help"

Of course there is truth behind it. Any type of training will work, to a degree, for a period of time.

You give me a guy that just "shrank' to 148 lbs and has never lifted, and I could put muscle on him by having him drag bricks.

You think there is truth to it, then try it. If nothing else, at least it teaches you to work harder.

Surprised by the hostility. I realize it's obviously a body building routine. but the people in this forum tend to be more scientifically minded which I thought might lead to more interesting discussion. I guess I was wrong.

There's no hostility. Re-read what I wrote. You asked what people thought. People told you not to believe everything you read.

Hey man, everything's cool. This forum gets pretty dead sometimes anyway, and you had good intentions. You live and you learn.

Yeah, I certainly don't believe that there is a 4 week workout plan that will magically transform most peoples bodies. I wouldn't necessarily be so quick to dismiss this guy's results however. He apparently had the results measured by a third party. Plus it doesn't appear that he's trying to sell anything.

Would you simply chalk up results like this and the Colorado experiment to gifted genetics? None of these results should are really experimental, more like case studies. I know nothing about this type of training other than most people concerned tend not to buy into it.

How many beginners do you know that embark on a lifting program and decide to randomly have the "results measured by a third party"?

yes i no theres truth behind it but obviously just any program isnt going to get you that much muscle so fast. So your saying what he did isnt that abnormal and you could get results like that in same circumstance???
