Track is coming up soon and i have to choose between long distance and short distance. It makes more sense for a powerlifter to do short distance right? Im also considering field.

if you have a good coach...then he will give you a good "athletic" type routine for your sport.

So you can do both....while powerlifting may need to take a slight backseat to track..

Sprinting is more specific to strength.
