Is there any semiaccurate way of estimating the caloric expenditure of weight training or cardio?
Most estimates I've seen are very rough and are usually in the form of "2-3 hours of heavy weight training burns..." What's "heavy weight training?"
Is there anything more specific? Like 1 squat of 135 pounds burns X number of calories at this weight and height?

Out of simple curiosity...why would that be something you wanted to know?

Thank you Mike.
My friend's diet hasn't been going so successfully, and I want to make sure she's not exceeding her maximum caloric deficit.
