With such a topic so broad we truly try to cover the basics from all angles in this group. Nothing too big or too small. Nutrition is as significant if not more as exercise is to reaching your goals so learn all you can.
I started a fitness program in January of this year and I went from 128lbs to 115 lbs (at 5'4). Well I stopped working out about a month ago and then I actually went down to 110 lbs...weird, cuz i ate whatever and didnt excersize. Well I just started up again about a week ago...pretty much jogging about 3.5 to 4 miles four times this week. I now have gained 5 lbs again! So now I'm 115 once more when if anything I shoulda lost! Does anyone have any idea why this is?
My guess would be water weight...you upped your energy expenditure..so your bodies holding onto more water.You may be dehydrated...up your water intake..until you are rehydrated...then your body will let go of the extra water it's holding onto....just an idea.
