hi everyone I am 5-10 300 pounds 40 years old is 100 pounds a realistic long term goal ?

no, if you are 5'10, you would look like a skeleton if you were 100lbs.

If this 100 pounds is what you want to loss yes you can do it. I t might take awhile but it is possible good luck hope to hear your progress.....:big_smile::dumbbell:

Hi penbiker...yes I hope your hopin to lose 100 lbs...not weigh 100lbs....but YES you can do it!!!!!With the advice and support from this site ALONE(well along with some commitment on your part:))you can....good luck....looking forward to hearing your progress!!!

It is absolutely doable!! Make realistic goals that you can maintain over the long term. Start moving and cut out the junk food. Use this site to learn all you can about proper nutrition and how to exercise. You'll do great!

penbiker- sorry for the misunderstanding. I would also agree with everyone else that loosing 100lbs is doable!
Work hard and it will pay off in your results!
