ok i have an injured left shoulder, so done by using my shoulders for bicep curls, sort of shrugging and using that momentum to lift the dumb bells, anyways i told my trainer about this and she said "work the rotator cuffs" and thats' all she said lol.

so i'm assuming that this has something to do with the shoulder or it's around the shoulder area, but what i want to know is exactly how to work it???? and i spose a general description of what this is would help too

thx

A lot depends on the type and severity of the injury and often the only thing you can do is avoid damaging it further. That call is obviously up to you. Here's a link to give you a little more knowledge of the area.
