I've heard that regular workouts can cause a woman to skip her periods, but mine seem to have become more frequent!!They are getting closer and closer together. The last was 3 weeks from the first, and now I have the tell tale signs of another and I just had one 2 weeks ago.I did have this problem all the way into my 20's but after having my tubes tied almost 9 years ago it has never been a problem.Has anybody else had this problem?

From what I've heard a regular workout routine can cause your body to get into more of a rythm....might be your cycle is trying to straighten itself out. If it doesn't level out in the new few months might want to check with your Dr.

However I'm a guy so I really don't have a clue. So just ignore me.

Don't blame him!

Oh and by the way...keep this conversation between me and you. I think it's a man law thing...and I've said to much as it is.

Uh-OH...you should have said something earlier.
I've started an entire web site about Stumps period opinions!!It's been quite active,I thought the hits from the men were just out of curiosity.I didn't think they were looking for a lynching. They asked where you lived...I told them Texas, now I understand why they said....

KC, you'll love menopause. I think it's been the most interesting and exciting time in my 26 years of married life.

We have stayed close with my wife's two college roomates for 30 years. At least 3 or four times a year we get together. A few years ago the 4 of us tented a really nice penthouse at Myrtle beach. On the morning of the second day the TV crapped out and the remnants of a huricane was passing through. I called the office and told them I was locked in the penthouse with a broken TV and 3 menopausal women. I never heard a person laugh so hard. I had a new TV within the hour. Flashin wimminz is scarey!!!!

Ahhhhh...just great!!I had a perfectly legitamite thread going here and you guys had to go and ruin it with all of your manly thoughts!!!Now none of the women will give it any serious thought, they won't be able to get past the man toxins!!

Charlie...I know women with flashes can be scarey...but try a woman that's a stay at home mom, quit smoking two weeks ago, giving up sugar, having her period every couple of weeks kinda gal!I believe my husband is plotting to send me to the funny farm!!
2006/06/21, 01:36 PM
He's still in the plotting stage...a mere child. Menopause will make a man of steel out of him. Wait until he tries to wrestle covers from you when you've kicked them off, coiled up on top of 'em, set the AC on 55 and ....never mind. The best is yet to come.

Mutt...Despite the fact that you outweigh me by another me, I'm still more scared of my wife's period!:laugh:

And Charlie not to say you're old or anything (cause it would just be rude to come out and say that), but my Mom is going through menopause and a year ago we drove down to San Antonio (about 4 hrs away) with her and I told her I'm not riding with her anywhere again till she gets through it.

Sorry to hijack your thread with all these guys KC...I'll leave now.

OK, I think I made it past the man toxin's:big_smile: I really don't think regular exercise would cause more frequent periods. I asume you're not taking birth control pills, so I would suggest giving your Dr. a call just to be sure:) Also, keep in mind your body changes every 7 years.
