I've been to several web sites now and I've gotten a different answer at many of them. I've seen some say 30 minutes is all you need, and some say 60 minutes is best.
Is it a.. more is better.. type thing?

I have been told by a trainer that anymore than 45 minutes is a waste. I used to do 1.5hrs 6 days a week. I was also working on endurance rather than fat loss. My heart rate was not at the correct reading for fat loss. I had to learn to slow down on the treadmill and not go so fast. My endurane is great but the weight wasn't budging.
Good luck

I have heard from a trainer that 20 minutes of high intestsity cardio 3x a week is plenty, just as mysticgraces said above, however, how come you hear on tv or read in magazines that celebrities are doing up to one hour of cardio?

the way i heard was for people that are in farely good shape 20 to 30 min of cardio 3 times a week for the one that need to loss weight 5 days 30 mins of cardio. but in order to loss weight you MUST burn more caleries than what you take in. I keep a journal of what I eat and how much cardio I do plus weight lifting burns caleries and don;t forget everything else that we do daily burns caleries...
