Yep....I almost fell into my normal pattern. Be really good for a few weeks, just start to see some small changes, and then think things aren't going quick enough and fall off the band wagon. I'll tell you...I was this : : close to making the choice of giving up for a week....or two. BUT...we went shopping last night to get a dress for a fancy dinner on Friday. Not only did I get the dress I wanted in a 2x(instead of a 3x) but I also got an AWESOME pair of jeans in a 20(instead of a 22). Those women out there know that getting into a smaller pair of jeans is better than getting into a smaller pair of regular pants.

I avoided distaster....that was the little push I needed to say "See, this is actually working..not just numbers on the scale anymore lady!"

Just had to share cause I'm happy, and my butt looks FABULOUS in these new jeans.

That's awesome CrystalBelle! Glad to see you're re-motivated...nothing like a great pair of jeans that fit nice in the butt!!

akia2006...you just have to hang in there for the long haul. This site has lot's of people who have great success stories--but none of the successes occured overnight. Use this to help keep you motivated! Good Luck!

Crystal I felt exactly the same way this week,I saw some good changes and thought I could take a week off,but then I realized I cant ever take a week off,its too easy and too dangerous.

Akia

Be patient and stay strong,it will take time but it will happen..small changes can reap big rewards

Akia, checking your measurements is sometimes a better gauge for your progress.

You don't necessarily have to see a "weight" loss for things to be different. Check your "measurements", your waist for instance. A lot of people see a change in their clothes size before they see a change in their weight.

ok now I understand. Tomorrow I will be checking my measurements because I did right down all my measurements when I started working out because my pilates books looks at inches loss as well as weight loss so I will update you guys on monday but what happens if I dont see a difference there either, but I will press on:cool:

Exactly, press on. If no differance, keep your head up, rationalize why not and make the necessary changes. Weight loss takes time, don't forget that. Learning is part of the process. A loss of 1-2 pounds a week is healthy as you've probably read. It takes time, be patient and you will succeed.

Don't be. Your doing fine. Give it a little time, it'll happen.
