Does anyone want to go on a weight loss challenge with me? I prefer for it to be someone with a similar makeup as me. I am a 29y/o female and I weigh 214lbs and am 5ft 6in. I would like to start the challenge April 1st and end the challenge June 30, 2006. I think this will help me motivate myself more. Target weight loss is 30 pounds.:):dumbbell: If more than one person wants to join the more the better

You are doing a great job rayr31. From everything that I have read states that if you are losing weight the healthy way then 1-3 per week is right on target. Mystic maintaining is better than gaining:laugh:. Well guys for me I did not have a chance to weigh in this morning but I will weigh myself tomorrow and report back.

Im right with mystic. With all the busyness of this week,"I-week and night for my fraternity" i couldnt get to the gym. Its kinda hard when your up with the pledges till 7 am and then have a 10 am class then you get like a 4 hour nap, work, more class and then back to the frat house agian... so not a fun week for me... or was it lolol... but in the long run i maintained my bw.

You can jump on the band wagon the more the merry and hopefully we can encourage you more. Well guys I can not post my weight this week because I am currently dealing with womenly issues that happens every month. So if you guys still think I should post my weight let me know but you know that women usually gain a extra 1-3 pounds of fluids during that time.

Hey Kescobedo let us know your current weight and what is your goal weight. Ok good luck also what type of diet are you on and what type of workout are you doing.

ok I thought I should shre this with ya'll... I just got back from seeing the guy who one the second season of the biggest loser, Matt Hoover. It was the most amazing presentation that I have ever been to. I has so moved by his speech that I am going to follow some of his tips. A few of the biggest things he said was to throw out the junk and another was to add up all the fodd bills that you eat out each week. Well I don't know if much of that made sense but if you have anymore questions about what he said leave me a message and I will get back to you.

Akia

What I did was take a week off because of my arm....I didnt do any working out and I honestly think taking that break helped me....Your body gets use to the same routine and your muscles just wont respond anymore,so you have to take a break, then work a new routine when you get back at it

When I was off for the week,I followed my eating plan, but I had alot of snacks that I wouldnt usually have, this feast to famine idea and back, helps keep the metabolism guessing, and so instead of it running at a steady burn...it runs high all the time, burning more fat and calories.

Just try and shake things up a bit...new exercise, diff foods etc and your body will respond

thanks guys I think that I do need to add a new routine to my workout, even though I still sweat I think that my body might be used to this routine. Could this happen after only one month of doing the same routine? I do my pilates tapes everyday. the tape has a fatbuner workout and a regular pilates toning workout, so I do each one every other day and when I am finish I go for a 40 minutes walk, so I walk every day. I really dont want to stop walking but should I add another workout tape to my routine?

Well I am going to go into LA Weigh loss center next week. I really dont beleive in these kind of places but so far I have heard really good thing about them and that it does work. Well I change my workout rountine so that I am doing something different everyday. One day I walk, next day I run, then I go to the gym and lift weights, and then on the other day I do a different exersize tape. Every week I mix it up so I dont do the same rountine on the same days. So I will see if that help. I took a week off last week because I was feeling discouraged, but feeling better this week. Will check in next week guys. Good luck to everyone, it seems like some people have drop off:surprised::surprised:
