I would like to kick start my metabolism in am before i get on the tredmill at 6am. Any suggestions? I've been taking a teaspoon of peanut butter before I excercise then after tredmill i eat breakfast. What do you guys think?

I would add 10-20 gr. of EAA(protein) to that. Or if you are doing the cardio immediately after eating, just the protein would be best.

If you are protein starved, you start breaking down muscle. Fats will not digest fast enough, and FFA cannot be mobilzed that quickly for energy, so your energy source will be stored muscle glycogen and amino acids from your existing muscle.
