I was reading an article in the Army Times yesterday about super slow sets, anyone heard of this? It is where you do less sets and longer time. Example: 10 sec. to lift the weight and 10 sec. to bring it back down. It is suppose to do wonders, but I have heard some negatives. It puts your work out time down to 15 minutes and two times a week because of the muscles are worked very hard lifting this way.

I know that I do my sets at a slower pace than some guys. I'm trying to concentrate on correct form and also don't tire myself out so quickly. I don't know about the Army article. I sure don't like cranking out the sets. Whew!!

I've always done my working sets very slow and steady and my warm up sets being a little faster. I feel that everyone should take there time and really work that days muscle group.
