I am 15 and I feel like i am fat. i don't know how to work out. and all i really want is just no stomach or love handles. everyone makes fun of my stomach and i just want to know how to make it go away any suggestions ?:(

How do people feel about part of your ability to tone the stomach/abs is related to genetics?

Hello,

I have been religiously exercising for a while, and I am battling tummy fat as well.

I understand that calorie deficit is they key. How can I measure how many calories I burn while strength training?

Please advise.

Hello,

I am so tried of having this muffin top around my waist. I have lose 130 lbs and still have this thing with me. I have tried crunches and cardio but nothing seems to help it is still there. What else could I do before I think about surgery.

Omg people seriously get with it. There is no easy way out or cheat you can do to lose ur belly. Just exercise and watch your diet. Read all above entry's.:(

Hello
New to this community. I'm a little worried about what the site says I should be taking in as far as calories etc. It's telling me to take in well over 3000 cals a day and I'm afraid that's too much. I just want to lose weight--a ton of weight-literally, and I don't know if this is going to work even with the recommended exercises. It sounds more like a guy's eating plan. Any suggestions or help is appreciated!

The exercise programs are excellent but the calorie count is on the extremely high side.

Figure on a calorie intake of of 12-14 calories per pound of body weight per day. Make that your total daily calories and adjust from there.

I keep hearing "burn more calories than you take in". If i take in 1400 calories a day does this mean i have to burn more than 1400 calories??:(

It seems like some of these people don't belive that taking in less calories and doing cardio is the only thing that works! I just started and I do cardio every other day and keep my calorie intake between 1200 and 1400. The thing was I was doing crunches, sit ups, and every other stomach thing I could think of on the other days. The whole time I thought it (the sit-ups) was working, because I lost an inch off that area in two weeks! LOL but then I came across this and the myth thread and realize it wasn't the crunches! However under that nice layer of fat I have some pretty firm abs! LOL
