Some of you may not want to read this. Why? Because I’m going to tell the truth, and sometimes the truth just ain’t pretty.
Why are we overweight/underweight? Why don’t our bodies look how we want them to look? Let's be honest, it's because we don’t eat right, we don’t exercise right, and we give up! We all reach a point where things just don’t seem to be working out the way we planned. We begin to feel discouraged and depressed about the situation and decide ‘what the heck, this isn’t going to work, I may as well quit and try something else’. Emotions are what makes us human. Negative emotions like frustration, self-doubt, negativity, and fear can and will take over your life in one form or another if you let them. So don’t let them! Every chance you get, fill yourself with positive emotions. If you have to, write things like “I can!” & “I will!” on post-it notes and put them all over everything so you see them all the time. Do whatever it takes to keep a positive mind set. Motivation is what makes us set the alarm clock to get up an hour early so we can stick with our fitness plan. WILL POWER is what makes us actually get up when that buzzers goes off. Get some will power! How bad do you want it? Bad enough to not give up? What if you fail? To borrow from Billy Ocean, “When the going gets tough, the tough get going.” Turn the failure into motivation!. Mistakes, failures, setbacks. LESSONS. Learn something from it and use it to move forward! Michael Waltrip, a stock car driver in the NASCAR Winston Cup series, started 462 races before he finally won a race. And it was not just any race, it was the Daytona 500, the most prestigious event in the stock car racing series. While celebrating in victory lane, he said ‘I never quit. You can’t win if you quit!’ Let me repeat that. You can NOT win if you quit!!! Quitting is your fastest ticket to Loserville. Before you quit, do a reality check: Why did you start this effort in the first place? What has kept you going up to now? What do you need in order to keep going? How will you feel when you achieve your goal? If you quit now, what will you lose? Is quitting worth it? Not for me. I refuse to quit! Never say die! -------------- ~Jennifer http://www.gwindalyn.com If you dont stand for something, you will fall for anything. |

The King tries to hold back from the verbal lashing I could unleash.
A King , if smart, tries to make life easy as possible in the castle..therefore.., by working smarter , not harder, I let the Queen relish in the thoughts of her power. Truth be known...I'mm just full of it...but it's all fun while I'm at work!! |

LOL!! You're full of somethin' alright.
You are the King. Duh. You married the Queen. That just makes you King by default. Now back to work mister! *snaps the whip* -------------- ~Jennifer http://www.gwindalyn.com If you dont stand for something, you will fall for anything. |

Good idea, if the Queen thinks you are in charge she gets a suitor to kill you and takes your place! You know, how does that whipping into shape work the other way? My wife is great at telling me 2 more , come on, wuss! But when I tell her to do a couple more she yells, and makes me wait on dinner! LOL

You guys are hilarious. Thanks for the motivational post up top--I printed it and put it next to my wife's contract to lose 50 lbs. in 3 1/2 months for 1000 bucks. (Sometimes a little extrinsic motivation isn't bad either :-P)
