Any suggestions on how to rehab from runners knee? I've been running 6 to 8 miles a week for about a year and half and the past few weeks have been pure pain. And to stop running is not an option.

Feels like someone is sticking an ice pick into yhre side of my knee. I've been to the doctor and put on an anti-inflammitory and it didn't help much

I had a similar problem and used anti-inflams and vitamins.Be surprised how much vitamins help ligaments, joints, etc. Try that. Good luck

I have the same problem my physical therapist advices is to do squats with out a resistance ball. Do one set of 10 reps and each rep is held for 10 seconds.

I had the same thing about a year ago. My syllovial fluid was a wreck and my joints were rubbing together in my right knee. I started doing more leg lifts like leg press, leg extensions, and leg curls to strengthen my legs and within no time my legs were strong enough to hold together without pain.
