I do not know if this is true but just read on another website that Anthony Clark died of a massive heart attack. Just thought everyone would like to know.

This evening around 6:30pm Anthony passed away from a heart attack. His Memorial will be set up soon in Clear Lake, Tx, on Tuesday or Wednesday. I bet Anthony is putting up some BIG WEIGHT in HEAVEN. God bless you Anthony and your family too.
This is what I found on moster muscle. Rev8Ball new Anthony well I believe.

Just thought it would be a good idea to post this information about Anthony Clark

Anthony Clark, as anyone who has met him can testify, is perhaps one of the most quiet and unassuming men on Earth. Anthony Clark is something unique now in the sport. A man who does most of his "talking" by lifting on the platform. Probably pigeon-holed by many as simply a fantastic bench presser, Anthony Clark is a great three lift powerlifter. Anthony Clark has used his unique reverse grip bench press style to hold the current all-time bench press world record. This lift is also a topic of heated debate by many in the powerlifting world. When pressed for a reply, Anthony shrugs and says, "There's always next time when I beat that record too." However quiet Anthony may be in person, his list of accomplishments yell loudly for all to hear. A brief synopsis of his powerlifting-related accomplishments follow below:

Some of Anthony Clark's accomplishments

First teen to Bench Press 600 pounds 1986

A 1025 pound squat 1988

First man to reverse grip ench press 700 pounds 1992

First man to bench press over 700 pounds

800 pound bench press record at the Arnold Classic 1997

1031 pound squat

771 Deadlift

World record powerlifting total of 2600 pounds

He has successfully benched 700 pounds or greater 17 times in competition

Talks to youth and spreads the meaning of the gospel sometimes up to 270 days a year

I just spoke with one of his family members, and it is, unfortunately for us, confirmed.

For those who weren't lucky enough to have met him, Anthony was one of the greatest and sincerest individuals I have ever known. He was just out in Vegas a few months ago, and I thank God I was able to see him them, for one last time.

I'm going to try to fly out for the service on Thursday. Until then, I won't be on FTs for a bit.

Anthony's brother-in-law just called me, and, in case any of you are interested, here is the info on the services:

Wed 5/25: Viewing, from 5-7pm
21620 Gulf Freeway
Webster, TX 77598

Thurs: Funeral, 12:30pm
Gulf Meadows Church
8012 Fuqua
Houston, TX 77075

In lieu of flowers, they have set up an account for donations:
The Anthony Clark/Kingdom Givers Memorial Fund
Wells Fargo, Acct #1379084617

He said that AC was having some breathing difficulties, so they took him to the hosptial, and his heart just stopped. Please keep his family in your prayers.
Thanks........

He was only 39 years old I believe. It is sad to lose someone so great so soon.

He was a cool lifter. I saw him at an evangelical youth outreach program..I cant even remember the groups name because it was a few yrs back but I remember him and the other powerlifter and their intensity.

The world has suffered a great loss.
God bless and comfort his loved ones right now.
