3 weeks ago, when I started to focus on this..240lbs, I'm 5'8".

As of today 227lbs

I will get to my ideal weight of 155.

Hmm...this is my first post here. It looks like a cool place though.

I'm about 5'5"

Goals:
current weight: 215
goal weight: 130

I'm 5'1 nad 21 yrs old and weigh 161.5 lbs and want to get to 120 lbs. I did weigh 231 lbs so I've lost a bit and lack 41.5 lbs.

i was 175 now. i weigh 155 now. im 6'0" im 16. i have recently been diagnosed with diabetes. it is very difficult to watch my weight because of the amount of insulin i have to take. i want to put some of the muscle back on without gaining weight

hi everyone,
I am new here and just wanted to say hello. I starting dieting 8/27/05 (221) and have lost. I walk 3-5 miles a day faithfully. I have only lost 19.5 pounds as of 10/25/05. I want to tone up and have no clue where to start. I do have a torn right bicept muscle (which makes my arm look deformed). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

lol Yea really! I wouldn't care if I weighed 300lbs, just so long as I look 100! :big_smile:

btw I'm 5'3"/5'4" depending on the day, 160 give or take, and I WILL be 120 by the end of the year :)

I am 5'4 and started at 174, now at 159. I've added heavier weight and more intense cardio and the scale has stopped going down. Talk about frustrating. It almost went out the window this morning! lol I've been trying to take in the 1500 calories, most of the time I do. My goal is to be at 130 by Christmas... hopefully it's Christmas of 05!!

I am now 145 pounds, I was 220 pounds in September 2004, I am on my last 20 pounds...taking too long. Time to step it up before summer! Want to look great in that bikini this coming summer..how do I get rid of the lumpiness on the back of my legs!UGH!

I am mutt. Because of continuing medical problems I need to stop making stupid excuses and do this. I can hardly walk right now. My gout has spread to the right foot as well as the left. I am now in such pain that just walking 10 feet is so bad I just sit around. I have 2 young boys, and a wife that need me to be on my feet. So my weight right now is 315. There it is public once again. I hope this helps.

im new to ft and it looks like a pretty good site. in high school i used to power lift 4 days a week for football and had great results but quit and have put on about 40 pounds in a year. im now 280 and was a very lean 240 so im trying to get back down to that range and physique, maybe even 230.

anyway

current: 280
goal: 2 pounds per week for 20-25 weeks
end weight: 230-240

I am new to this site and I am pretty interested in it, it looks like I can get alot of help here. I would like to be massive in muscles, but my true goal is to be fully proportional in muscularity, I had started at the weight of around 205 and am now currently around 237. I will have to eat right and make sure I am just increasing in muscle and not in fat.

Hi Im Kim.. I am 20 years old and I weigh 292 lbs. My ultimate goal weight is 125... so I have to lose a whopping 167 lbs. I am commited to a workout program I am doing a workout at home and at the gym 4-5 days a week. However, my problem is eating, no matter what I do it seems that I wind up right where I started from. Hey all nice to see a lot of new faces. Thought I post a update. My wife in Oct, got the gastric bypass. I have been struggling with my weight for years in 1997 when Imet her I was 230 and still losing. Now for the last for years I have been 315. Last week I went to the Doc for gout related problems. I was weighed and pleased to find I was 295. That is the first time in over 4 years I have been under 300. All I have done is follow a strict diet of "clean" foods ( i still cheat a bit cause I have to LOL). AND more importantly a calorie controlled diet as well. I do not starve or really feel hungry, except after a work out. I also added 2 days of cardio to my powerlifting routine as well. I credit the loss also to my wife. She is really "forcing" the issue and calls me out when i make a bad choice.
My point to all this is if I, a classic overeater, can do it so can you all!

Good luck! And remember if you fall off the wagon 8 times get up 9!

Hi

I am in my early 40's and would like to lose about 100 pounds. I have not exercised in months, so I am going to start off slow. I am planning on starting my diet in the new year. I am getting myself mentally ready right now. All I need to do for that is look at myself sitting down. Its like my whole middle spreads out. I don't notice it unless I am looking into a mirror, and then its like "yikes!!! people see that?????"

If any one would like to do weigh-ins with me and track exercise, let me know.

I wanted to compliment everyone that has posted their weight, accomplishments, and even your struggles. Please know that you will ALWAYS have friends here on FT that understand, can relate, sometimes give you the kick in the arse you need to face reality, but most of all they are supportive. There are many knowledgeable individuals here and I can't think of a better place to be. Keep coming to FT, don't just sign in and go...we all need one another to remind us that WE CAN DO IT! If one of your excuses is that you don't have any support at home --well, you found FT and now you can throw that one out the window with the others! :love:

Hey everyone. I'm 19 , 5'4 and weigh about 209.i used to weigh about 140 but then was put on meds which f*ed everything up.but i've been off them for a long long time and can not seem to lose weight.i dont even know how to eat right..i need advice badly :(

Hello... never had a diet before, and it is a litle daunting. I am 5-9 150 female. I used to marathon, but had knee problems, and have not run in 6 mos. I know how to do cardio, and lift. but have no will power once I start with something yummy like chocolate... where do I start with a daily diet plan?

Hi my name is ashley..i am new here but i figured i need to try something, I had a baby 13 months ago by c section...used to be 131 lbs now i am 218, and i need to lose the weight, as fast as i possibly can, i can use all the help i can get, so please help me, the problem is i am going to college and managing a household so the gym is outtA THE QUESTION...NO TIME and i dont have a lot of "free time' so any suggestions will help. thanks

I passed my 50lb. weight loss goal. I have been weight training for about 12 months and dieting for two years. I want to get down to 210 or so. I went from 296 down to 245 on my six foot frame. I am putting on muscle and loosing about .5 lbs a week. Thanks to Freetrainers and a committment to get healthy, I look foreward to reaching my goal in the next year of so. all of you Keep up the good work.

I just want to add that this website is AWSOME. I am so glad i found this place. Normally by now i would be thinking about giving up.. but just by reading about people who have done it, and are going thru what i am is such an insparation. There is no doubt in my mind that im going to make it all the way to my goal. And i owe alot of it to this site. So thank you.
