Hi everyone,

I'm a 38 year old woman and I'm starting my journey to healthiness. I joined a gym, but it's one of the discount gyms that doesn't offer staff to answer questions. Since I don't really know where to begin I joined two workouts on this site; cardio and first time in the gym. When I looked at a daily routine I saw that the first time in the gym routine has me working abs, shoulders, arms, legs, back and chest all in a day. I thought the preferred way to do it was by muscle group. Am I missing something?
