Hello,

ok so how do I explain my concern..

I am 5'9 195lbs the BMI index says I am overweight. I am not thin by any means I am female and a size 16. I used to be extremely active and have slowed down in the past few years. My doctor doesn't have an issue with my weight he calls my build athletic, but I do have some areas I would like to loose from IE: my stomach, my upper arms and inner thighs.

I have signed up for the programs here and I run daily and weight train 3 times a week. I get obsessive about weight loss and I am trying to avoid that. I have been the extreme at my worst in high school I had issues with an eating disorder to fit in on teams.

I eat relatively healthy, according to the calculator here I actually dont eat enough but my goal is to loose not gain so I am unsure what that means.

im having allot of touble losin weight. i weigh about 194lbs and im 5'3. its like i need someone with me all the time to tell me what to eat and not to eat and when to start exercsing.im also in school and sometimes i get embarrassed. sometimes i start cring. it brings me pain inside that im like this. i want to be energized and fit into those slim looking clothes. i need to know the fastest way i can lose weight. please can someone help me. im willing to do whatever it takes to lose my weight faster!:

hi im 5'7" and weigh 227 lbs my doctor says i need to loose 80 pounds or i will get diabetes, it runs in my family i have been working out 3-5 times a week for about two hours at a time i eat healthy and always count the calories cause my doc bumped me down to 2500 calories a day and i cant loose the weight i have been doing this for 3 months and not a pound has gone please help:(

Yes, lots of water, 2 to 3 litres per day and lots of aerobic excercise. the more the excercise the better. It wont happen over night but the more excercise you do the better, but also your diet counts, the more fibre and less saturated fat the better.

hello can anybody help me...?my height is 5.5 and my weight is 69 kg...i walk on treadmill and burn around 400 calories 3 days a week,and other 4 days i do aerobics...i eat less,eat fruits,vegetables,drink plenty of water,and avoid sugar and oily foods...i also do stationary jogging some times to loose weight but m not loosing:( m desperate now:( plz help and also tell how much should i weigh...??as i have large body frame...thankx

I want to be able to loose 55 pound by June 2010. It's very doable if I loose 2 pounds a week. I would really like to start jogging, but since I have really large breasts naturally, plus from having a baby, I know that they are going to be very uncomfortable. What can I do make jogging more comfortable?:(Rosie!)

Do you have access to a gym? What are you doing for diet?

Rosie, go to a good running/sports shop and get yourself kitted out with the best quality sports bra you can afford. I have seen people running marathons with very large breasts so it shouldn't be something that prevents you if you really want it.

hi i'm new to this.. i'm 5'1 and i'm standing at 178.8pounds after having my four month old...anyways i was wondering i've been jogging and working out with a weight ball.. i haven't lost any weight and i've been sweating my buns off! so what else can i do? i've put myself on a low calorie diet also what should i do i fell like giving up!!

hey im 24. female. about to deliver my 3rd child. i want to lose 25 pounds in 13 weeks or at least tone up enough so i fit back in my pre baby clothes. (dont plan to chang exercise routine til baby comes or try to lose weight..) I know that is a short time but i will be nursing and i have one problem i cant seem to overcome.. I hardly eat. i am never hungry and get sick if i try to eat when i am not. I dont want to make my body sick by burning too many calories but i do want to be fit and toned to care for my kids. i am looking to los the weight to help with back problems and to just get back to normal any advice??

I am 19 6'0'' tall and i weigh 291...I went to college to play football, and over a period of 3 months of working out with the other college football players i gained over 40 pounds of muscle, we did nothing but work out everyday of the week for at least 4 to 6 hours....I never realized how much weight i have gained since last year....I still have alot of muscle mass, but i want to lose weight in my abdominal area and my chest and arms, from working out that much i have gained many stretch marks across my body, but i want to lose the weight fast and correctly, and my arms are very big, but if i lose weight i dont want to just have skin hangin around i want it to be tight, i know the whole toning workouts and all, but i want to lose the weight but also not look like a droopy balloon from my muscle mass decreasing

hello:) just signed up.. i am a 31 yr old mother of 5, 5'4" and 220lbs. i wasn't always this heavy although i've never really been thin. my goal is to get back down to 150lbs. (thats what i weighed 3 babies ago:laugh:) i'm mildly (circumstantially) depressed and hard to self motivate. i'm too self conscience to go to a gym so i'm really hoping this helps me.. i start monday (push ups omg) how will i know if i am doing the exersizes properly? i've heard they can do more damage than good if you don't do them right. God, I just want to feel beautiful again. It's been too long since I felt that way about myself.

Hello. I am a 31 y/o new mother to an 11 month old. I want to get into better shape for my daughter. My family has a history of heart issues, especially cholesterol and blood pressure related. I am 5'4.5" and weigh 158 lbs. Before my daughter was born, my weight ranged from 147 to 153, even after basic training for the military. Most people do not believe that I weigh what I do because I do not look that big, but I know that this is not considered a healthy weight. I am fairly active, and go through phases where I work out more often than others. I am on one of those kicks now, and want to ensure that I am doing the right things to get to a healthier weight. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

hi. im 28, 6.3 and weigh 230. i lost 120lbs about 4 years ago.and 2 summers ago i weighed 215. my problem is i don;t look fat as hell with my shirt on but wow! fat,flubber,manboobs everything.i think my body maybe is changeing but i got a beer belly you can cry about.how do i get rid of it. i lift weights about 3 days a week.i try to jog but i suck at it. i don't have money to go to the gym,so what do i do? i eat ok so... help i can't live like this! what cardeo do i do when i only can jog because no bike or money so help!!!!!!!! thanks

Hi, I am 23, I weigh 60 kilograms (I think 130 lbs). My problem areas are my stomach, lower back are, bum and my hips/upper legs. I want to lose 10 kilograms, I am exercising, but I cannot go jogging, if I skip rope and do boxing at least 3 times a week for 45-60 minutes and I eat right, how many months will it take to lose 10 kilograms?

hi im 22 and im about 5'2 and i weigh roughly 230lbs and i just had my 3rd baby...and can't seem to lose any of my baby weight like i was able to with my second child. anyways whats the best plan for me cuz i actually am wanting to lose a total of 80lbs to get where i wanna be and having 3 kids to chase around makes things a lil difficult to have time for myself to workout and going to the gym is out of the question cuz of the kiddos lol so whats the best thing i should do at home? any1 who has considered the water only diet sud think twice i have a mate who has tried it and ended up in hospital,:( i told her it was a bad idea and she has 2 kids, anything tht may risk you life jus to lose weight quicker aint worth it. Ask your self is it worth losing weight if i may lose my life? i would rather live to show off my new shape :love:

i am 18. and i weigh around 140-145. im 5'4. i want to loose the weight so bad but i have a very slow metabolism and it seems like no matter how hard i try. i run a mile a day about 3-4 times a week. i try to watch what i eat. it seems like everybody around me is a twig. please help. i dont know what else to do.

Hi just signed up and I've been reading the forum posts. I see a lot of young teens on here trying to lose weight fast. Honestly there is no fast way to lose weight short of starving yourself.Very unhealthy. When i was 18 I joined the Military weighing in at 118lbs at 5ft 7in. An unhealthy weight for my height. When i left basic training i weighed 155lbs i was solid had a good well balanced diet and worked out like crazy. Ran roughly 6 miles every other day and lots of Cardio. Now as some of the others here after 20 yrs i'm over weight and trying to get that military body back. I expect no quick fix. it took yrs to get the body i have now.I won't lie and say it's easy to lose weight. It's a killer.I have yet to find a diet that really works. And I'm not an unhealthy eater, now anyway. I gave up sugar and soda. Neither were easy. Sweets are my downfall. But by cutting out those two items I've lost 10lbs in a month. I have a long way to go. over 100lbs. Oh and that 10lbs was without ANY exercise. Now I've started exercising again walking 2 miles a day to start. I have a graduation in May and i'm hoping to drop 40lbs. Is there anything else that i can do besides healthy diet. Diet pills don't work most are a flukes.Any ideas Anyone?

hay everyone,
