I have lost 25 lbs or so since having hip replacement 2 years ago . I have toned up, reacquired muscle and total mobility but that tire is still there, smaller but still there. I try to eat lo carb, high protein, I do cheat on occassion with sweets. I am 58, I have 4 kids ,the fat that i let sit there so long is stuck. I keep telling myself that i can do this, I cam get a flat ab, i work on it everyday but my resolve is starting to dwindle as i diet and exercise but still have this problem. Can it be done ? I know diet is key to having a flat stomach and I am really trying to focus on eating well. Just wondering if someone around my age can give me some hope of having my goal met or am i fooling myself ?

I don't think you are fooling yourself. Just stay optimistic and look for more and more different ab exercises. Keep up the good work!!

Went back to straight cardio every morning and exercise ball, lower back trouble, with weights every other day, seems to be working!
