Running Part 3

Alright so yesterday I woke up bright and early at 0600 to go on a run. It was cold as all hell and I only went a mile, and it was slow. But thanks to that run I feel the momentum that I needed to get back into it. I went on another run later that day to bring my total mileage up to 3.69. I wanted 5 miles total, but that is a bit ambitious considering I'm at a 3000+ elevation and I havent run in a while. I did have to stop a few times to catch my breath, then to remedy a cramp. One time was to pet dogs, so it doesn't count. I also did a kettlebell and calisthenics workout yesterday. I don't want to overdo it but I know the body is very adaptable, and mine has taken much worse punishment in the past. So, I am going to keep pushing it and force my body to adapt. I don't believe in rest days anyway, just days where you do something different or not as punishing. Rest days make me feel like I am wasting time, and that gives me a decent amount of anxiety, so I always have to be doing something. Anyway, yay I'm back into running and I'm getting over that mental barrier. I feel like if I train hard and smart I will be able to get to 7:15 by August.
